Could use a couple of suggestions:
1) How often should I clean the headgear (straps) of my mask. I'm petrified of losing the positions they're in! They're black so I not quite sure how to mark the positions on the strap.
2) Does anyone know how to adjust the pressure setting on my unit? I looked on Ebay, but the manual for this machine is not listed anywhere.
Thanx a mil.
Steve.

I have never cleaned the straps. They might get a little hairspray, or oil from my hair, but I have not noticed any thing to worry about.

headgear advice
I tend to wash mine every few weeks for my Mirage FF. Unless, the headgear is dirty due to sweat etc. I would then wash it earlier. I have washed the straps separately and all as one piece minus the silicon piece for the face. I then hang it up to dry during the day. Just please note that the straps might shrink a little. After a few nights they stretched back. The shrinking may not happen to yours. If you want to remove the straps then you can always sew a small stitch where your mask strap ends are so you can reattach them again at the same place. For me, haircuts force me to readjust anyway when I cut mine short.

Clean Headgear
It seems to me that my headgear does not need to be washed more than once a month or so.
If it starts to seem a bit raunchy or causes breakouts on my forehead, then I'll be washing it.
When I had the Swift and the ADAM and the CL 1, I washed them weekly because they were not mine. The CL 1, which is closest to my CL 2, did not always seem to dry as quickly even with a fan blowing on it. The others dried quite well. The Swift had a similar fabric to the CL's but was significantly smaller and dried faster as a result. It was also easier to roll into a towel and press on to blot, without the plastic pieces attached to the headgear as in the CL's.
When blotted with a terry towel quite well and then with a microfiber towel, the results were better. However, I felt that it was perhaps too stressful on the headgear to do so.
But then again, when one wakes up wet anyway, what is a little dampness from the headgear going to matter?
