WTB: Comfortgel Blue Nasal Mask Support Arm

Post by K8TEK » Sat Jun 25, 2016 11:07 am

My support arm broke on my comfortgel blue mask and I'm looking for a replacement. Nobody sells just the support arm, and Philips Respironics tells me that you need to buy the entire frame.

Anybody have a mask they don't use anymore and is willing to part with the support arm?

Thanks

Tim

Would the support arm from the orginal Comfortgel mask fit. I may have one if it does.

Yes, even the non gel will fit, as will the Comfort Gel and comfort FF mask. I posted on this problem months age, folks here don't seem to see this as a problem, but we do have lots of Sheeple here.

Companies should be rewarded for screwing their customers. As far as my idea, I'm due for a new machine, I won't use Resmed, now I won't buy Respironics due to the mask screw over. So I will keep my money in my pocket and keep using my old school Tanks. They can sell their poorly designed junk to the Sheeple. Jim

It's a shame Philips doesn't offer spare parts for their products, especially when this one in particular is prone to failure.

Unfortunately, full face masks with a deep gel cushion are rare.
Respironics has no competition, thence no motivation to treat their customers
WITH RESPECT.
Here is an opportunity for someone to scan the item and upload an .stl file to the Net for 3D geeks.
The materials cost could be about a buck, and print time maybe an hour.
An easy, fun mitzvah!
(Apologies for cultural appropriatiion)

I have several Comfortgel masks and might have what you need. Mine are not the full face ones though. What size mask do you use?

I use the small/medium frame.

I need this piece.

On Edit:

I should note I use the nasal mask only and not the full face one.

I have one of the old original comfortgel Blue version of the same part. It looks like it would fit. If you PM me with your address I'll send it to you.

Both will fit, I am using a FF on my nasal now, also the non-gel from the previous generation will fit. Jim
