When you get a chance you might update your equipment profile to avoid potential confusion later.

Will do - well good news after one night my AHI was 5.5. The only thing is that my mask would make a lot of noise and wake me up in the middle of the night, I am using the Airfit F10, I might have to switch to a different full face mask that doesn't leak at higher pressures.

good luck finding such an animal. you'll probably have better luck looking at mask liners, to quiet the noise.

Any suggestions for a mask that doesn't leak like crazy? Last night was good with my F10 but I basically had it as tight as it goes. I really need a full face mask that doesn't leak that bad because I have nasal pillows but they irritated my nose a lot. I didn't want it to cause an infection, and I also breathe through my mouth so I had to use a chin strap. Ugh finding a good mask for high pressures is a real pain.

I use the amara view mask. My pressure was running 20 - 25, and I am now running 18. I do not have any problems with leaks at those pressures. I use mask liners I made myself from an old tee shirt.

So I saw my sleep doctor and she adjusted my settings. Basically she said that what I changed them to was not correct and there was too much pressure. She basically said I was getting too much air and my oxygen numbers were between 720 and 900, I don't know what that was, I think my oxygen numbers or something. She said they should be around 450 and they were way too high. She also said my AHI numbers were too high because of this. She kept the EPAP at 8 and made Min PS 4 and Max PS 10. Who knows though, as she has adjusted my settings before on my old CPAP machine and it didn't help at all.

My numbers have been horrible since my doctor adjusted my machine. This is starting to become pretty frustrating, I just think she doesn't know what she is talking about. The high pressures reduced my AHI numbers but caused me to be really gassy in the morning, and sometimes throughout the day, and messed up my oxygen levels at night. I don't know where to go from here.

My numbers have been horrible since my last post and I have been feeling like I have no energy. I bought some Remzzz liners for my Airfit F10 and I am going to try using them tonight. Last night I raised my pressure settings slightly but my mask was leaking a real lot and making noises, so I woke up a lot in the middle of the night. My AHI was lower though and was 9.1. Has anyone had any luck with the Remzzz liners?

wash them and reuse them, it's stupid and wasteful (and greedy) of the company to suggest they're single use.

I've used them, they work ok, more of a hassle to use than padacheek.

I have a Padacheek for the F10 that I bought a while ago. I used it and the leakage was out of control and much worse than when I didn't use it. I don't know, I didn't have good luck with it. I'll see how the Remzzz liners work for me.

I seem to have bad luck with liners. The Remzzz was horrible last night and my leakage was out of control and past the large leakage threshold. The mask also squeaked a lot and woke me up constantly in the middle of the night. Can anyone recommend to me a full face mask that does not squeak or leak a ton in the middle of the night?

you should examine what you're doing wrong.

all masks fit well without excessive leaks, for someone, or they wouldn't be sold anymore, because nobody would buy them.

I don't know I have a feeling that most full face masks won't work for me because I have a pretty full beard. They simply do not seal well at all.

I am going to try my nasal pillows tonight but the last time I used them they irritated my nose a ton after a few days, and my breathing felt odd during the day, like it was forced or unnatural. The breathing issue did not happen with the Airfit F10.

no full mask is going to seal on a beard, it can't contact your skin.

that would be an important fact to mention when asking for advice on masks, ya think?

They invented this device called a razor, i've seen them work before. Getting my mask to work would be more important than straining the noodles out of my soup. Jim
