Hi Everyone!
My name is Ariel from Brazil and I am new here.
I use CPAP since 2007 and ate least for 10 years I ve been using the fx swift mask. I have a lot of ripped cushions but couldn t repair using any kind of glue or tape.
Can you please tell me if there is any glue I can use for thia purpose?
Thank you all very much!
Ariel de Sousa
You will need a silicone glue. Example:

Do you know you can buy replacement mask cusions without buying the whole mask?

Hi NY guy. I'm sorry most of the replies didn't actually read your post properly. Welcome to the internet. Telling you to have spares around doesn't much help when you don't have them does it?
I'm aware the post is years old however I'll add my experience here. Apart from the silicone glue one person linked, I can confirm duct tape is almost useless. High grade silicone seems to reject duct tape almost completely and even if you manage to get a piece to stick, it quickly wears off. The glue is the best emergency measure however you might have some success with a damp cloth (small piece) or tissue/hand towel made of paper. The thing is - you don't have to fix the tear - you just have to create a seal so the mask works properly. If you move a lot during sleep this will be less effective.
I hope that helps.

There are six replies in this thread giving advice on repairs to NKYNewbie. And they gave prompt advice instead of 7 years later.

NKYNewbie hasn't logged in for the last 6.5 years.
And it's NKYNewbie, not NY guy.
