Did another sleep recording last night, and added respiratory effort from a belt around diaphragm. This is also the first recording I was able to make that included both O2 saturation and airway O2/CO2. The desaturations correspond pretty well to the drop in exhaled O2, although they lag by a few seconds which might make sense.
Saw the same pattern as the other night, and during the apneas it looks like there is not much breathing effort (could this imply CA? or just lack of diaphragm movement against an obstructed airway?)
Thanks again to all for their help in understanding these phenomena - I hope to get test results and proceed with therapy next week.
