I would add that any audiologist who will only dispense ONE brand probably should be avoided.

That would be the equivalent of buying glasses at the drugstore. They MIGHT work for you and if they do....cool for you. Getting a good fit with hearing aids takes a lot of knowledge of the product, the programming and the patient's hearing loss. You can make sounds louder, but doesn't mean you are getting the best fit possible.
Given enough sleep....I could rule the world.

Who can tell if I should listen to a frequency which eliminates the Tinnitus tone in my ears or which just resembles the tone, and what about the volume?

I paid $40 for 2 months treatment therapy.
