How many masks do you have?

Working on mask #4, at appoximately three months into this CPAP thing, I find myself wondering how many masks other people have? A poll, just for fun!

I am on mask number 3. Started with ComfortGel, then ComfortClassic, now I'm using ComfortLite 2. Wow, I never realized that all my masks are the comfort line. Too funny! Anyway, i'm still not completely happy so I think my next attempt is going to be the ComfortCurve. Not intentionally staying with the comfort line, just looks like a comfortable system.

I've been on CPAP since June 7, 2006 and have tried 4 masks. DME gave me a FP 407 nasal. Traded that in for the Swift. Purchased the ComfortLite 2 and just received the Breeze yesterday. Tried sleeping with the Breeze last night - too many problems and to tired to deal with them so went back to the Swift. I'm a side sleeper so I'll play with the Breeze more this weekend.

I have 2 .. with 2 cushions for the first one I got.

First the DME gave me an Ultra Mirage II with the shallow cushion because I had a mustache and goatee and he said it was better for people with facial hair. Way way too small. Hurt. So I demanded the Activa which the doctor had prescribed and they sent it right over via UPS.

Ahhhh. Much better. But it kinda pulled at the hair on my upper lip so i decided 14 years was long enough to have the ugliness covered by the beard and stache and shaved.

I decided to order the standard cushion for the Ultra Mirage II and try that because, although the Activa is a great mask, it is so large as to be unwieldy.

For the last week I have been using the Ultra Mirage II with the standard cushion. OK but takes much tighter straps to avoid leaks.

I think I might order that Hybrid next.

I find something I like and stick to it. (I guess that's why my hubby and I have been happily married for 42 years).

In 3+ years, I've only had two types of masks. I started with the Nasalaire which I used for 2 1/2 years, and then I got my Aura. Once I de"cap"itated her, she became my Beloved Aura. ....

been on cpap since may 12, 2006, and so far i have my first mask the comfortfull 2 which i still use almost everyday when i'm not trying the hybrid, a f&p ff431, a resmed mirage series 2, a comfortgel nasal, and the hybrid which i'm fiddling with off and on, so i guess not all that bad a starter collection. i guess.

I listed one (have sold the UMFF, so now only have the Breeze). But I feel I need a FF mask for when I get a cold, which will happen eventually, I know. That will make using the Breeze something other than a breeze

I am looking at the Hybrid......

umm actually no, my insurance only paid for one mask, the comfortfull 2, i got the comfortgel nasal free from my rt, i bought the f&p ff431 for 114.00, and the mirage series 2 i bought on auction for 50 bux shipped, and the hybrid was given to me by the marketing department at teleflex medical to review.

My DME said my insurance will pay for a mask about every 6months. When I need nasal pillows the Dr. at the sleep center in the hospital just gives them to me,along with chin straps etc. Yes I know she is wonderful.
