First Meeting with Dr After BIPAP Start

Post by Pilothawk46 » Fri Apr 08, 2016 10:08 am

I have been on BIPAP since the first of December. I just had my first meeting with my doc to review how things are going. I thought they were going great, other than the leaky mask. I wear it almost eight hours per night. My number of events are down...BUT, despite pressure on 18, I am still desaturating down to as low as 87%.

Tonight I wear a memory pulse oximeter, then she will review again?

Is this a common occurrence? Any idea as to the next step? How much higher than 18 can this Resmed Air Curve v10 go?
Thanks in advance for sharing your opinions.

When I first got my AirCurve 10 VAUTO, it was set to 20 - 25 cm H2O. I have since lowered it to 18 - 25 cm H2O.
