Baby, in general, or anything without alcohol or petroleum jelly.

I've been using facial tissue and a squirt of hand sanitizer for years. no adverse affects.

I use the Pampers Sensitive baby wipes. Like them very much. Yes, they are good to use.

Any unscented baby wipe will work. Even store brand. They are usually alcohol-free.
Alcohol can be drying or irritating to the skin and nasal passages.
There is very little difference from the dedicated cpap wipes, except price.

I have been using the Pampers wipes for sensitive skin for 6 years. Wal-Mart sells them for $2.78 for a pack of 60. They work great. Any wipes will work as long as they don't have alcohol or aloe (in mass quantities). The Pampers wipes have aloe juice, but go ahead and use them. They work great and are relatively cheap.

I use the CPAP wipes which are a few bucks more but it comes with a lot of them and it makes cleaning the mask easy without worrying about chemicals or residue.

As to cleaning headgear, wash like you would your "dainties".
(Wipes are not effective on porous materials.)
Hand wash and air dry; or lingerie bag, gentle cycle, dry--all low heat or cold.

I buy my unscented wipes from CPAP.com, our gracious sponsors, and have for years. I don't spend a lot of money annually on miscellaneous CPAP gear, therefore I like to buy my wipes, filters, Control III, plus a few other things from CPAP.com, as I said - our wonderful sponsors. Heck, why not kick them a few dollars from time to time... it's the right thing to do unless you're really strapped for cash.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
