New Oximeter question

My old CMS 50F died awhile back and I just got a new one.

I see the old software is still on this computer and it ran when I clicked on it.

Will I need to install the, presumably, newer software or will the old do ok?

if it's the same color, it uses the same software.

if it has different color faces, then the old software won't work

Yeah they are both blue.

New one seems to be larger and has a rubber wrist strap.

It's still charging up. I will try it tomorrow morning maybe and see what happens.
