ResScan to view Trilogy CPAP data??

Post by mjmia3 » Mon Mar 21, 2016 2:19 pm

Hi, we have the trilogy for CPAP (for my daughter). Is there a free download for the ResScan software to view it? Homecare says I need to bring them the SD card.

given that the trilogy is made by respironics and resscan is made by their sworn enemy resmed... I kinda doubt it.

Homecare said that was the product they used to view it. It should be interesting to actually find out. Not sure how to view the data.

ResScan won't be able to get data from the Trilogy, a Respironics product.

If anything works it will be either Encore Basic, or Encore Pro.

To get a link to download either of them, please post a reply to this post asking for help in downloading Encore,
and change the Subject line to:
Encore to view Trilogy CPAP data??

That will pop your request to the top.

It's a shame that Madalot seems to have left the forum around the same time that Pugsy and Sludge did. Madalot was the only frequent poster that I know of who regularly uses a Trilogy. As I recall she had to rely on the DME to provide her with printouts of the data, but I'm not 100% sure of that.

Still, I would suggest that the OP on this thread do a search of Madalot's posts to find out how she was getting her data off that machine when she was still posting here.

I still pop in from time to time since I'm talking to metsfan about a 2nd hose cozy.

You have to have Direct View (unless something has changed) to view any data from the Trilogy. You get very little "sleep apnea" data as the Trilogy is a ventilator and the data is more respiratory related.

If the DME is saying they get the data from Rescan, I would raise an eyebrow at that.

Or, something has changed.

Frightening that the people you're depending on don't know the difference between ResScan and Encore.

This document implies that Encore Pro works with Trilogy, at least for oximetry data. https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/cdrh_doc ... 111610.pdf

I'm glad to see that you still pop around now and then. You know more about the Trilogy than anybody else around here.

Hope your sleep has at least stabilized and I also hope your other conditions are under control.

Thanks, Robysue. I am doing quite well. Trilogy is working the way it should and any problems I have are either fixable or endurable. My only real issue right now is finding a mask that fits right since I've lost weight.

Thank you for your kind words.

Yes. You have to upload the picture to a photo server program -- I use photobucket (I think that's what it is - been a long time since I've used it). Once you upload it to whatever program, there is a way to send a link to get it here. Someone else can probably give you better instructions.

Hi, glad to hear things are going well.

Have you looked at the note besides yours today re the child 'Leaks...post T&A" (on a Trilogy too)? I was thinking you might have some input...

Encore to view Trilogy CPAP data?

Post by LousMOM » Mon Jun 03, 2019 5:25 pm

I have the SD card from my Trilogy 100 machine. I would greatly appreciate a link to the Encore software, so I may view the Trilogy 100 data. If Encore works on a mac please let me know, otherwise I will have to "borrow" my husbands laptop. Thank you!!!

DirectView is the software for the Trilogy and it's not downloadable unless you're a healthcare provider. I don't think even Encore Pro will work with the Trilogy. ResScan is software for ResMed machines - so that will definitely not work.
