Funny! its a 2 way road

Post by Hornnumb2 » Tue Mar 15, 2016 4:24 pm

Never thought about my snoring before because the wife would just go to another bedroom if she was bothered. Since starting Bipap and no longer snoring, now I have to listen to her snore. No where near like me but just enough to make it hard to get to sleep. We have been married 24 years so I guess I will keep her. Michael

I had the same problem .... so I got her a bipap too.
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

My wife doesn't snore, but late at night she does listen to that damned Coast to Coast AM radio with George Noory (she forgets to turn it off and just falls asleep). I don't know what is worse: Noory or snoring. It's funny, but when the formidable Art Bell was hosting that show it never bothered me at all, mostly because his voice was so bassy and mellow... very soothing. Noory, not so much. Sorry for getting side-tracked.

Maybe a home sleep study is in order for your wife.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

like grayghost says, get her a machine too.. I did the same thing to my bedmate... "wear this and you don't have to sleep in the spare room" "ok".

I listened to Art back when I was working nights.

Most clock radios have a sleep timer. Press the sleep button, it turns on the radio for 60 minutes and turns it off automatically. Press again for another 60 minutes if you're still awake. Replacement clock radios are cheap...

I wish my XM radio had a sleep timer. I like to listen to Classic Radio at night.
All the old radio shows of the fifties; Jack Benny, Bob Hope, Our Miss Brooks, Johnny Dollar,
The Shadow, Sherlock Holmes, so many I had forgotten.

Thanks, Jan... the headband with speakers look interesting. Might be too hot in the summer here in California but I'll check 'em out for winter use.

No kidding, I just got these about a week ago. They can be hot. I haven't figured out how to get the speakers out to wash the headband. These are "wired" speakers, that means they are not bluetooth or wireless. I've been wearing these with the wire in the back, which is somewhat where my ears are in relation to the speakers.

Overall I like them. When the room is cooler in winter like the first day or two I had these, I wore them under my headgear. I liked the fact the headband cushioned the T brace that touches my forehead. It made that more comfortable.

GB, the speakers can be removed through an opening in the seam at inside center back.
I have a pair myself.
