A mask liner may help. And IMHO there's ALWAYS a certain small degree of leaking with FF masks. I try to have it around the chin rather than the eyes.
Thank you! I am going to give your blog a look at. I greatly appreciate it!

I opened up sleepyhead and it said this "Your mask is leaking way too much.. Talk to your CPAP advisor." LOL I didn't expect to read that, but I got a good laugh out of it. Sleepyhead knew I needed that laugh. It is for sure something someone would need to know when being new to all of this for sure. So Sleepyhead once again has shown me it is a great tool!

When I did my first titration study, I had a full beard. They used a remzzz mask liner on me and it did a good job of controlling the leaks so they could complete the study. If you want to try making your own, this is the web site I got my pattern from: http://montfordhouse.com/cpap/diy-cotton-mask-liner.pdf I made liners from an old, well used tee shirt. The liner is the same size as the remzzz small but you can enlarge it if you need to.

I have been working with the mask this afternoon and am still getting nowhere with it lol. I read the blog and am doing the best I can to not get frustrated with it. But I don't want the thing getting the better of me. I want to concur it at this point!!

Just wanted to give an update on the mask. I tamed the mask and was able to get some sleep with it without leaking like crazy. It took a lot of work and patience. I am sure there will be more bumps in the road, but for now had an AHI of 0.1 so I am ok with that. Looked at the sleepyhead data and and no large leaks. Yay! So good news on the mask front for now.
