she had this machine since sep or oct cant remember all of a sudden it stopped working
anyone have any idea what caused it or what it is? thank you

REMstar c-flex cpap not working
Re: REMstar c-flex cpap not working
Was the machine new when she got it? I wouldn't think so from your description, but in any case, if she got it from a dealer, that's the place to take it to. We couldn't tell you anything based on what you've said, but when it says 'service required' it's usually not something you can fix by yourself and another machine may be needed.

Re: REMstar c-flex cpap not working
From your description (or lack thereof), we have no way of knowing exactly which "generation" it's from, which specific model it is, the nature of the problem or what caused the problem. Respironics has used similar names "REMstar" for 15 years or more and through about 6 generations, but C-Flex didn't come into being until about 2003.Mewlittle wrote:Hi my mom's cpap which is a REMstar c-flex isn't working

So, I would suggest you contact this place:
http://www.acbio.com
They're a factory-authorized repair facility for Philips/Respironics and ResMed equipment.
They're also a member of this forum under the name "Accurate" and are highly thought of here.

Re: REMstar c-flex cpap not working
There are different models and generations of Remstar (Philips Respironics) machines, and all of their CPAPs have c-flex. If money is the issue, there are ways to replace it less expensively. Repair will likely be very expensive unless it is something simple like the AC adapter. Maybe elaborate, what model this is, and why it can't be replaced?Mewlittle wrote:Hi my mom's cpap which is a REMstar c-flex isn't working

Typical 1-post wonder? The 6-month old CPAP is broken and the supplier can't be reached to replace, so the sky is falling.palerider wrote:maybe they glued it to the beside table to keep it from getting pulled off???Sleeprider wrote:why it can't be replaced?
