CPAP beginner having more apnea events

Post by Seanm04 » Sun Feb 21, 2016 12:10 pm

I have been using cpap therapy with a Resmed Airbender 10 for about a week now. On the website I am able to track my sleep time and events per hour, among other things. In the last 3 days I have gone from 4.5 events per hour when I first used the cpap to 17 events per hour last night. I just want to know if this is normal when first starting therapy.

Not normal...and there is no "airbender" machine. How about registering and filling in your exact equipment. Then download Sleepyhead software.

Correction: The CPAP machine I have is a Resmed Airsense 10. Sorry, I was auto corrected.

Still only one of 4 possible very different machines.

Got to say had a good laugh re: Airbender. Why didn't they think to name it that?

What mask do you use? What are your pressures set at? Are you a known mouth breather? Ever tried a full face mask? Sleep on your back?

If your machine is a full data machine we can help you get free computer software so you can see what's going on and you can post it here to see if there are therapy changes that might help. So tell us what model of Airsense 10 you have.

ever see people in northern climes driving around in a car covered in snow, where they've just scraped a little hole in the ice and snow so they have a little peephole to see out of, right in front of 'em?

that's what you're getting from your website.

to get all the windows cleared off so you can actually see TONS more, and find answers.

get sleepyhead. (see below)
