If your mask is making you feel even vaguely claustrophobic you ned to fix that. It's what almost led me to quit CPAP after a month. If you can, try to train yourself to breathe through your nose only then try something like the P10.
If not try taping the straps of your mask to your face so at least you feel when you tear it off, perhaps?
