System One water usage/Dry mouth

Post by larryb5061 » Tue Jan 26, 2016 10:37 am

I can use my Respronics System One for 2 to 3 nights and the water level rarely changes. I use a dehumidifier in my house so I know its not a ambient moisture thing in the house. I have tried different settings on the cpap unit itself with no changes. I wake up some nights with a dry mouth. Any suggestions??

Please fill in your equipment to help us give you answers. wiki/index.php/Registering_Equipment_in_User_Profile Please remove the water and turn over your machine. on the bottom of the blower part is a REF# that identifies the machine. And this link might help you identify the machine. https://sleep.tnet.com/cmd

Larry, turn off the System One humidification and use the manual settings. You will need to be in the clinical menu. http://www.apneaboard.com/dreamstation- ... structions

Once in setup, turn System One humidification off, then select 1-3 for humidity level. At setting 2, I will use the entire tank in 10-11 hours and need to refill daily. Get the heated hose if you don't have it, cause you're going to have rain-out if you make it this humid without heat or a cover.

Thank you, however my machine does not look anything like that. I am at work at the time. will provide more information when I am home.
