I use the stuff you are not supposed to use (now watch all the naysayers tell me I'm not supposed to use it, I just laugh at them) but it works fine for me, never yellows my masks, they come really clean smell fresh and last long, like in a year long.
I'm cheap bet I don't replace the cushion but once a year and it is not like the silicone is wearing out.
Most of the time it is tears or completely out of shape. I just run some really hot tap water in the bathroom sink, give it squirt of dawn orange antibacterial liquid hand soap, give it that ole agitation action, rinse, shake it, use the hair dryer to blow some of the water off it and you are good to go.
Or you can follow the mfg. directions and replace your mask once a month. Never tried them wipes, I have the Lysol and others, seems like all they do is push the dust bunnies around. A bottle of that dawn liquid hand soap will last you years.

Citrus Wipes
I bought the wipes on e-bay. I use them to wipe the nasal pillow down each morning (Swift). I like them because it's quick and easy and I'm lazy. I do a thorough cleaning once a week. Haven't had any problems.

I have the Citrus II. It was $7 for an 8oz bottle. True you don't need it but it is easy to spray and wipe. $7 is inexpensive considering the cost of masks and machines. (Not expensive as I read) Soap and water will work just as well I guess but I like to think I am putting some sort of disinfectant on it anyway to kill any germs.
Bi-Pap for 17 years now. Rx 12/8 and using a Resmed AirCurve 10 SAuto Bipap Auto.
