Needed Min Pressure adjustment on AutoBiPAP

Post by AutoBiPAPFrank » Fri Jan 15, 2016 4:08 pm

Big thanks to Pugsy in pointing me to software that can analyze the new DreamStation AutoBiPAP data. While the machine was controlling OA events pretty well and rarely raised above the min/support settings, I didn't realize I was getting Hypopneas (fairly high) and an occassional central. Adjusting the min pressure up by 3 to what I had been using on the non-data capable machine did the trick any my AHI numbers are now around .2 to .4.

Congratulations on your success.

Pugsy has been a lifesaver to me over past 2-3 months with her continuing advice and encouragement.

She has nearly 33,000 posts assisting people like us.

I have found this is not nearly as easy as I presumed.

This forum is absolutely essential for support and ongoing advice.
