Re: Kinks in New Slimline Hose
I am extremely frustrated with the so called best lightweight slimline Resporonics tubing. I strongly made it known that the kinks in this hose slap me in the face or don't turn with me, etc.
Apparently, I am the only one who has ever had this problem. Bologna! It is an inferior product. Why should I have to hang it up for weeks, or do anything else for that matter to get the kinks out?
Make a better product!
I have been a CPAP patient for over a decade. To be told I am the problem infuriates me. My favorite tubing of all time was the Fisher and Paykel icon heated hose. It moved freely with you. Resporonics needs to research that hose.
Glad someone else spoke about having the same issues.
The company needs to step up to better more flexible material that will not kink while packaged and stay kinked the entire 10 months I had to have the first hose until insurance will replace it. I deserve tubing that I can use immediately after cleaning the very first time right after opening the new package, and does everyone else.

google : cpap pool noodle

it worked for me, I jammed one between the mattress and the head of the bed, best hose-keeper going.
I only put the hose into about a foot of the noodle and is about 2ft above my pillow. As well as slicing along, I also cut across the noodle, to remove an inch section for the hose to go in and come out.

Then there is travel - I'm going to carry noodles with me? No!
Your post belongs in a thread about hose hangers.
Re: Kinks in New Slimline Hose
Thank you also! I'm surprised packaging kinks aren't a big complaint in this forum. Maybe most people are using heated hoses?Me2 wrote:Glad someone else spoke about having the same issues.

My machine came with a heated hose when I got it two years ago. I have never used anything else. My spare machine my wife is using also came with a heated hose. We have never tired non-heated hoses, and don't plan to in the future.
