Will SD Card Catch Up

Post by andycole » Thu Dec 31, 2015 10:37 am

OOPS. Forgot to put the card back in machine last night. Will it capture results from memory?

I tried it a couple of minutes ago. It has date and length os time but no statistics. Should I wait a few hours and try again?

No .... that is all that is saved in the machine memory ... the rest is written to the card during the night .
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

tnx, that's what I was afraid of. Have been very careful but was in lot of pain last night and forgot. Spasmed my back shoveling - live in western MA and we had our first storm.

Don't beat yourself up over losing that bit of detailed data. We have all done it, even myself and I did it for 7 nights just last month. Left the SD card in the computer for a week....thought I had put it back in the machine and went to check my data (I don't check it daily) and the card wasn't in the machine...oops.

ResMed machines require that the detailed data be stored directly on the the SD card during the night as they don't store the detailed data on the machine. The machines internal storage is mainly hours of use and AHI and maybe some leak numbers but no graphs. It is what it is.
Respironics users have it much better...those machines store a considerable amount of detailed date on the machine itself so a night without the SD card doesn't mean loss of all the graphs...only lose 1 graph.
