Further squinting I can see "Auto .... A Flex" which means the APAP model and not the 960 for sure.
I can't tell with the glare just what color the face plate is but that machine might even be a 550 if the face plate is silver in color and not the dark gray of the 60 series.
For sure it isn't what the OP in this thread is likely going to need and for sure a bit over priced IMHO but what bothers me more is the seller doesn't know what he is selling and that's always a huge red flag for me and makes me question everything the seller says.

I don't know of any ASV models at this time available on the private market other than what grayghost has.
Bizrate (I need to check to see if that's his correct ID) might be able to get one but his source is quite a bit higher I think. I was quoted around $1200 for a S9 Adapt 36037 that was new.
DMVRedskin has just sold his 960.
And I just sold my 960 about 6 weeks ago. All I have now for a spare is the 760 and I wouldn't part with my 36037 now.

If OP could get his doctor to write a script then secondwindcpap.com could be used to get a gently used machine at a discount but even then it's still pricey.

While you were sick we had someone sell a 36007 with 2700 hours on it for $150 and that included humidifier...now that's a deal. Extremely rare to have a smoking hot deal like that.

Palerider, good call. I read the title, and as always with Craigslist, one has to be on their game. My bad

To the O.P. the machine Grayghost4 posted will do the trick and he is a reliable seller. I wouldn't hesitate to get that.

I love the detective work

it's a 560 because it's got a heated hose connector on the humidifier

I have not posted either one of them ... cause I think I want to keep one of them .... not sure which.
If someone want to purchase one of them ... that will make the decision which I keep

Yep, I now see that heated hose connector...didn't really look at the humidifier lid until you mentioned it.

Anyone wondering about grayghost and purchasing anything from him...he is one of the good guys and is trustworthy and I wouldn't hesitate for a second buying from him if he had what I needed and wanted and at a price I could afford.

If I had the extra money right now I would be making the choice for him as to which one he gets to keep by buying the AirCurve 10 ASV Then I could sell my 760 because it likely won't ever be used if I keep my S9 36037 for backup. I have become a full fledged ResMed snob.

I don't understand the significance of the heated hose connector .... a 960 can have a heated hose.

The presence of the heated hose connector definitely marks the machine as 60 series but not all 60 series machines will be heated hose capable until the lid is changed and the different power supply is added.
When I see a heated hose connection on the humidifier lid I then assume the power brick is also upgraded to accommodate the heated hose.

The 60 series machines were shipped either already heated hose capable (lid, power and heated hose) or not heated hose ready (regular non heated hose, regular lid and 60 watt power brick) but could be upgraded easily by using the upgrade kit.

Your 960 appears to have the regular lid so while it is heated hose capable it would need that upgrade kit as I suspect it also has the 60 watt power brick and not the 80 watt.
Not a problem or deal breaker though...not everyone needs or wants a heated hose and if they do and they want your machine it is easy enough to upgrade.

now I understand what you and PR were talking about ... weather it was a 50 or 60 series ... not weather it was a 560 or 960.... I misunderstood what that was in reference to

Pugsy was debating whether the other machine was a 550 or a 560, based on the name, you can't tell the difference, and the colors in the pic weren't that good.

however, seeing a heated hose connector on the humidifier indicated it had to be a 560, not a 550 machine.

I am getting more confused each day, so far I have called my doctor and he is out till next week. I have emailed the sleep doctor to see about a appointment. My wifes has a friend that owns a sleep clinic and I asked his advice, after he looked at my studies he thinks that from all the events on my first study that it was botched. I have no clue who to believe.....Michael

Michael, we have pointed you towards a couple solutions that would allow you to economically self-treat. The 960 from Grayghost is economical and can act as CPAP, Bilevel and ASV. Your insurance is not really an option because the same machine would cost $5000 through a conventional DME and your deductible and copay would be crazy. Regardless of the methods or competency in your sleep study and CPAP titration, you have a problem you need to address.

Just so everyone is on the same page, this is a summary of those studies:

First study diagnostic 12-lead PSG:
RESPIRATORY EVENTS:
Respiratory event scoring identified 1 obstructive apnea, 203 central apneas, 148 mixed apneas, 17 respiratory effort related arousals, and 101 obstructive hypopneas for a critically elevated Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI) of 71 and a critically elevated Respiratory Disturbance Index (RDI) of 74.0. The lowest oxygen saturation was critically reduced at 67%.

From the second study titration 12-lead PSG:
RESPIRATORY EVENTS:
Respiratory event scoring identified 6 obstructive apneas, 36 central apneas, 13 mixed apneas, 7 respiratory effort related arousals (RERAs) and 32 obstructive hypopneas, for a significantly elevated apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) of 16.5 and a respiratory disturbance index (RDI) of 18. At the final CPAP pressure of 12 cm H2O, the AHI was 35.1 with a RDI of 35.1. The lowest oxygen saturation was reduced at 84 % and the mean oxygen saturation at maximum CPAP pressure was normalized at 92%. The residual sleep disordered breathing necessitates a repeat study with Bi-Level PAP.

I appreciate all the info and I think I am just going to self diagnose.

Sleepyhead will work with the 960 right?
