Enchanter, I may have missed it, but do you ever explain
why you can't do something? I'm paraphrasing but I always seem to see you say things like "I can't sleep with the machine" or "I can't tolerate the mask" or "I've gone through 4 masks". That's like telling the doctor "I don't feel good", none of those statements explains what's making it impossible to use?
Why can't you sleep with your machine? What are the issues that make you unable to use it? If you've already explained in another thread just link me to it so I can read it.
And before everyone else tells me it's a hopeless cause, if that's true I'm wasting no ones time but my own .
Thanks
I am not fully sure why. It's not that I can't wear it, but I don't fall asleep in it. I can tell you though that I have trouble inhaling and exhaling with the machine. It's like trying to breathe through a paper bag. I can feel the pressure and it makes it next to impossible for me to sleep. I noticed that when I fall asleep I'm always laying on my left side. I can only fall asleep sleeping on my side now. But again, my problem I think is breathing. I don't breathe well with the mask. It bothers me all night. And then I feel much worse after not sleeping for 48 hours. I already had a hard time sleeping without the mask, but with the mask it becomes next to impossible.
I have always had allergies and have had a hard time breathing through my nose consistently. This forum probably cannot help me anymore with these issues. They don't know me. That's why now I am seeing my doctor.

All things considered I'm doing well with my therapy but that's been my biggest challenge (breathing against the pressure) by far too. I can't tell from your sig what machine you have, from the pic you posted in the other thread it looked like a Resmed of some type. I assume you've changed the EPR setting, assuming it has that? Changing it to #3 makes the pressure on exhale much easier to tolerate.

Why aren't you willing to consult a psychologist/therapist to help you with your sleeping-with-mask problem?

what I don't understand is why people keep talking to someone that's referred to Bleeping Beauty as something that starts with C and rhymes with "punt"...

At this point, I kind of hope he's a troll, because if all this crap is real;
nobody deserves that much misery.

I guess it shows that even trolls are susceptible to sleep apnea.

Yup... PR is feeling better and has returned as his true self. Yeah, I remember reading that when I looked back at some of Enchanter's posts. I also remember reading his apology. Many new people here since that time... why return to the past? Would have been nice if you left your nastiness in the hospital.

OOOOHHHH ... Lucy is back and is ready to knife someone...... Put it away Lucy, I think everyone has had enough of your sarcasm and nastiness.
We are all tired of enchanters trolling, if members would STOP answering his threads they would just fade away into oblivion and he would get the HINT at last. And maybe, just maybe, you would get the hint Lucy and just fade away too as you have before.
Cheers and a Happy New Year to everyone.
Nan

I don't believe that would work either, theirs always a supply of newbe's to engage, that's why he has changed the soap opera, by asking useless questions, that can have no Valid answers. He's not a dumb troll, he's just found more people to play with him. Jim

Julie, I'm seeing a real doctor. It's a physical problem. Please just let me see my doctor. No more questions about this. It's like you guys are trying to rub it in.
