Airsense 10, Heated Tube -- Ideal Settings?

Post by vitomatt » Wed Dec 23, 2015 6:57 pm

Have new airsense 10 auto with heated tube.
Trying to find best setting to avoid rainout.
I understand everyone's home is diff re humidity and temperature.
My room is around 60-62 degrees. Medium humidity
I'm using manual control. Humidity setting at 4; heated tube at 84 degrees. Still got rainout.
At setting of 3 -- I got dry mouth.
Try auto control?
My machine is set for a range of 7-13. AHI is < 1.0 and i usually hover around 10-12 when asleep -- go above 13 less than 5% of time
THANKS!!

When I kept getting rainout, I set it on auto and the problem went away. Now that the furnace runs a lot and has dried the air out, I've switched back to manual control. There aren't any ideal settings since everybody's environment is a bit different. Yours is similar to what I was experiencing in the Fall and the auto control seemed to handle it quite well.

What is your leak level, and which mask are you using?

In this forum, go to the User Control Panel and fill out your Equipment Profile.
