Reset clock on Respironics System One REMStar 60 series?

Post by Dyssomniac » Wed Nov 11, 2015 10:15 pm

I noticed this morning that the clock on my Respironics System One REMStar 60 series machine is off by about 10 minutes. Can it be reset manually? Or does it set itself by GPS or something?

I've often wondered how my ResMed S9 Autoset keeps track of the date and time. The time is off on it a little also. It gets unplugged often and we don't get cellular signals here that it could receive. I'm wondering if there's an internal clock w/battery inside it.

Nope. They're set to GMT at the factory and would need to be sent to some place that had the special connector and software to change it.

The older Legacy models (like I have) were "famous" for losing about 1 - 2 minutes per month. In early 2010 I managed to get hold of some of the special cables and software to keep the time current in mine, but since the System One machines came out with a different data card, they went to some other sort of connector to update them.

yes, there is a battery which retains settings, and keeps the clock running.

you can adjust the date and time via the clinicians menu. just be careful and don't set it ahead... it gets a little fiddly trying to turn the time back.

Thanks. It's not a big concern if it's off somewhat, I am too.
