data card not inserted all the way, last night.

Post by Bobby269 » Mon Nov 09, 2015 12:49 pm

WhenI put my data card in last night it didn't lock in. When I reinsert it this morning how much of my data will I download, Did I lose my detailed data for that day?

Why did you decide to ask here instead of just checking yourself?

My guess is you won't be missing any data... based on my experience with PR460.

I wouldn't worry about it. I go years without looking at data. I check my LCD screen every morning.

If you are importing into sleepyhead then it really doesn't matter since sleepyhead saves the data in its own database.

Yes, you most likely will not have detailed data for last night. Not normally a big deal.
Current Settings PS 4.0 over 10.6-18.0 (cmH2O) - Resmed S9 VPAP Auto w/h5i Humidifier - Quattro Air FFM
TNET Sleep Resource Pages - CPAP Machine Database
Put your equip in your Signature - SleepyHead v1.0.0-beta-1

You have a ResMed S9 machine showing in your profile. If that is correct then you have lost the detailed data.
The SD has to be inserted completely and correctly to get the detailed data.
Now the summary data is stored on the S9 so when you put the SD card back into the S9 it will write that data to the SD card...hours of use and some summary data will be available but no detailed graphs at all.

I forgot and left my SD card sitting on the top of my laptop last night...remembered it when I woke up this morning.
I have also had the SD card not stay inserted like it should...so try to remember to watch the LCD screen when you insert the SD card and make sure the S9 recognizes it so that you know it is inserted completely.

Now Respironics users like Scott, those machines store almost everything on the internal memory so leaving a SD card out of the machine doesn't cause a huge loss of detailed data...only the flow rate graph isn't stored on the PR S1.

ResMed users...nothing you can do...that detailed data is gone.

Yes. The S9 retains summary data only and that for 1 year. There are three levels of data, summary, detailed, and high resolution. The data card retains 365 days of summary data, 30 days of detail data, and 7 days of high resolution data. The high resolution data is the very fine data in your pressure graph.
