Imgur Posting Options

When I upload a new image to Imgur. I no longer see the thumbnail choices or the linked BBcode. These are the options I see. Does anyone know how we get the thumbnail options if they are still available.

This is what I have always seen and where I got this image just now. Others have said they don't get the Thumbnail choices either but I can't see where they are at or what to do to get them since I have them already.

Even when you upload a new image now that is what you get? I use to get the one you have but no longer and I sure wish those thumbnails were there.

Yep...I still see the same options. I just now uploaded this little cartoon to check to make sure.

I don't understand. I first thought it was because I was uploading without signing up so I signed up and it still didn't make a difference. Why are there two different choices? And thumbnails not offered. I sent them a message to see if they could tell me where they were but didn't hear back from them.
By the way the cartoon was a perfect choice.

I poked around all the various little thingies at imgur on my screen and the only place that I found the wording that you are seeing is when found a little box that said "generate image links" and when I clicked on it a little box popped up that gave me the choices in the wording you are seeing but the little box looked nothing like you are seeing.

I have no idea what is going on.

When you first upload an image, it shows you a abbreviated menu now. If you, then go to your images, and select the same image, you get a more complete menu with more options.



Then you see the original options...



Note that in my instructions you can change the URL to end in .png to get a link directly to the image (IF you saved it as a png. If not, jpg.

Easiest solution to that is to put the info in your signature as just text and not rely on the forum to provide links or images. This has been broken many times in the past.

The Medicare link uses too many characters to add much. I prefer to use my light to help others.

I followed your steps and can get a link that opens up a nice large screenshot but I am not understanding something because I can not find the thumbnail option. Any ideas?

You have to sign in and then click on your ID in the upper right corner. It will then give you options and you click on images. This will take you to your images. Then you click on the image you want and it will open up the image with the full menu.
