One fullface S2 large Resmed,
2 off Resmed Quattro (1 large, 1 medium)
1 fischer and Paykel HC405 Nasal mask.
These are complete but would need gentle cleaning and new seals as they're suffering from years in a dusty cupboard. The old seals are getting to the leaky stage. Hoses available also!
I don't know if parts (seals) are still available.
I would prefer them taken as a job lot to minimise hastle and postage, but anything's better than landfill.
The down side is that you will have to pay postage from the UK. It may be worth it for someone on a low income. I have looked to see if some medical charity would accept these, but I haven't found anything suitable.
After trying various masks I have found that just the air pressure is causing too much discomfort (stomach etc.) to continue with CPAP. I now use an MAD (mandibular advancement device) I.E. a jaw "thingy" that forces my lower jaw forward and keeps me breating. I have also lost a stone or so in weight and now am only carrying about a stone over my ideal. ( 1 stone =14lbs =7Kg approx)
It helps a little, but with the benefit of hindsight, I now realise that I have been a sufferer since was a skinny 14 year old.
Now I'm fat(tish) and 64 (bearded), cycle and play the banjo (badly) .
PM me if interested or any constructive ideas would be appreciated.

Have you tried just turning down the low pressure setting by 1-2 cm to see if it helps the aerophagia (often does)? Do a forum search here for aerophagia and see all the fixes people have tried before getting rid of your masks - MADs can come with their own long term problems.

Yes Julie,
Thanks for your reply.
I tried about everything it was just getting worse.
I've been a MAD user for a few years now and apart from the cost of getting a decent one made and getting my jaw to loosen up, the only problems I get are an irritation on my tongue occasionally and difficulty using it when I've got a cold.
Sore jaw muscles were initially a minor problem!
Perhaps there will a breakthrough in electronic nerve stimulation or a giant rocking cradle to simulate a rough sea.
Regards
