If you are contemplating installing a hose management system, you should look at a "Gecko Tech" hook - you can attach it to the wall, and remove it without bothering the finish, then attach a hanger for the hose to it. Haven't tried it yet, but will report if any difficulties.

Should have waited till I tried it. Didn't work on painted, textured surface like a wall. Use on slick surfaces only.
