Well be careful with meds, a lot of them can cause sleep problems. Benzos and Z-class drugs like clonazpam and ambien actually delay REM onset and reduce total REM sleep time. From at least one research paper (which albiet was done no "normal" people). Remeron (mitazipine generic) actually increased DELTA slow-wave sleep after 2 weeks of usage. I've tried remeron and take 3.75mg some nights when needed. As with mostm eds you don't want to be on them long, and its an anti depressent from not an SSRI, The higher dose the AD effects more, the smaller dose seems to work better as a sedative. None of the horrible side effects of benzos and other common sleep pills. It too can cause dependence and withdrawal, but it takes much longer and is not as severe as from benzos.
It's actually on the chart on the webiste linked above. I am just chiming in my xperience with it, it's pretty decent, maybe try that, or possibly trazadone as well as I've heard that helps too.
No help for lack of rem sleep and PLMD?

does setting a single epap setting help instead of a range? I tried 6-12cm the other night with a max ipap of 25cm and it was better. is it really true that a range of epap 8-16cm gives you worse sleep?
I think clonazepam with the asv lowers the centrals I get, Journal of Slpee. I'm not sure I like it because there was a study linking it to Alzheimer's

I would second Den's suggestion of setting machine at constant pressure of 9cm.
Also, don't take vitamin d3 at night. Take it with breakfast with some fat in your diet. You can take a omega 3 pill with the d3 to get the fat.
Take magnesium and potassium in night. You may want to try a magnesium Glycinate because glycine in it is also a relaxant so it may help in sleep.
