CPAP has trouble getting started

Post by miltonthedog21 » Tue Oct 27, 2015 8:37 am

Hi all,

I've been having a problem with my CPAP lately where it's not been working properly at the start-up. So, when I go to turn the machine on, it beeps like its going to turn on, then shuts itself off to a blank screen, comes back on and beeps and repeats over and over. This can sometimes occur over a few hours before the machine finally turns on. Once it's on, the machine will run fine until I shut it off. I'm not quite sure why the problem has been occurring and I've been having alot of trouble trying to get a new machine through my supplier/doctor. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue and what it could be.

Note, I have a Philips Respironics System One Remstar machine.

if you could post the number from the bottom of the blower (REF XXX) Also the number of hrs. on the machine .. how old ...
We might be able to give you some suggestions
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!
