Just a quick question or 2. I have a PR System One DS960 BiPAP Machine AutoSV 60 Series with Humidifier & Heated Tubing in transport here. The DME give me a little static about getting that machine since they only sell ResMed now. Would there be much difference between that and the ResMed AirCurve™ 10 ASV Bi-Level with Integrated Humidifier? Also will EncoreBasic work with the System One machine?

Re: New machine coming
Encore Basic should work just fine with your new machine as long as it is a fairly recent version of Encore Basic. If you find it won't work send me a PM and I will help you get a newer version.
The model 960 and the ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV do the same job but they go about it a bit differently in terms of how they do their jobs.
They both do a good job though and I suspect the reason the DME was pushing the ResMed is that they get a better wholesale price break on the ResMed.
In terms of actual effectiveness they both do a great job.
I think the Respironics takes a little bit more of a kinder gentler response in how they do their job and the ResMed is a little more aggressive in its response. Minor pros and cons with either but none that are deal breakers.
Edit....you can also use SleepyHead software if you wish but sometimes it has been reported to give some rather weird reports...not often but on occasion.

I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.
Re: New machine coming
Thank you Pugsy. I am looking forward to using the new machine. I've used mine now over 6 years and am 100% compliant. I wish I had started using a machine years before I did.

I could too. All those years.
The past is gone. All my second chances are in the future.
