I have a dumb question if there is such -

If I did not have an apnea of any kind - Would the pressures change, and would the cpap record centrals or obstructives?

like it cant be the cpap machine creating all these events right?

what does a "normal" treated low AHI - screenshot look like? just wonderin

Like I have been looking at my screenshots the way they are for so long I like in my mind think a 34.8 ahi night seems better then a 52.4 night etc

what should i expect to see i don't even know what I am asking anymore - like once I get the correct machine will these numbers i have start going down id assume?

Well its me again.

I just the other day got Nuance Nasal Pillow's - First time i've ever tried pillows. I usually use FF or Nasal Masks.

Strange thing is My AHI and Centrals and all Events Dropped in like Half - Just a good night or do masks play a role in this?

Masks can sometimes play a role but normally it is the big whole face masks that give a lower central count and that's for when pressures are causing to much CO2O wash out too fast and the dead space in the big masks doesn't let so much wash out. And I don't think your centrals are caused by cpap pressure or CO2O washout.

You need more than one night....maybe the nasal pillows do help a little some how...but we need more nights to have a better idea...was last night a fluke or a beginning?

Proof I am odd..... besides liking the Met.

These numbers are well yea I dont know teens one night, 30's next with no changes etc

And does the 95% number mean It was mostly that pressure? I see mine was 19.84 last night

No....the definition is at OR BELOW that number.
Pertains to leak or pressure...people tend to forget the "or below" part of the definition.

Got the Amara View FF mask yesterday - exchanged a reg Amara for it.

While at the DME, it did not leak, fit right, felt right.

When I used it last night, seems to have leaked alot...?

This is suppose to be set as a full face right not a nasal i assume I did that part right.....

Yes..it's considered a full face mask.

Something was wrong with the fit somewhere..something moved..
That's too much big leak to accept.
Even the baseline leak is higher than it should be...it's pushing large leak territory right from the onset.

I'll get it figured out, maybe it was not tight enough.....

I wanted to use this one as I developed a little pimple inside my nose, not sure if that's common from the pillow type mask's like the Nuance etc.

I was using that and really liking it till a little sore formed inside my nostril and well was pretty painful using the pillow style set-up
