Adding my two cents and question. I find my Tinnitus is bad when I wake up but I ALSO find it is even worse when I fall asleep on the sofa without my cpap. Could lack of proper breathing be an instigator?
I just had my card read and have great numbers. I wonder of just the changing my pressure may help.
Cpap has been life changing for me so I am hoping the two aren't related other than in a positive way.
I use a swift fx nasal pillow mask with my respironics APAP with pressure 9 to 13 but also use a P10 nasal pillow mask with my RESMED AirMini when I travel.
Open to suggestions as I am seeing an ENT in a few weeks and have had my meds analyzed. 2% of Lipitor users apparently have increased tinnitus.
Dentist says I grind my teeth which is also a TMJ issue and may cause tinnitus. I think this line of attack is my best bet. Getting a dental bite guard will help my teeth from being damaged but it wont stop the grind. So am looking to reduce stress, meditate and trying to relax more to see if it helps.
