OK anyone want to talk me through how to post sleepyhead results? I downloaded the report into a PDF file but I never post attachments or pictures to forums so I am clueless.

Hi Richard,
Here's a page that instructs you on how to post screenshots from SleepyHead. If you're still needing assistance after that, let us know.

Go figure - I can walk while chewing gum but apparently I can't quite grasp breathing while sleeping.

OK this was for a 3-4 hour period that I was actually asleep. After midnight I was awake and took the mask off (see itchy nose subject ).

Re: posting seepyhead results
I would appreciate any comments on my first sleepyhead results.
4 hour window. To me it looks like I have a constant leak in the mask.

IF anything...I would raise minimum to 8 and maximum to 15. The report looks really good and if you are sleeping well with the mask and machine you may want to leave everything the way it is.

Re: posting seepyhead results
The PR S1 machines report what we call total leak which is the mask's intentional vent rate plus any excess leaks.
SleepyHead leak graphs...top line is the total leak and the bottom line is a close approx of excess only leak.
All masks have an intentional vent/leak rate because that's how the excess carbon dioxide that we exhale get blown off so we don't keep rebreathing it and make ourselves sick.
The intentional vent rate will vary as the pressure varies (as well as with mask type in general) so as the pressure increases the vent rate increases too.
So the biggest part of that increase in that top leak line is from the pressure increases. It's really to be expected and doesn't mean that leaks are an issue.
Large leak territory for your mask and your pressure is going to be up between 80 to 90 L/min. If you hit it you will get a LL (Large Leak) flag up on the very top of the events graph. You never come close to large leak territory. Unless leaks are waking you up they aren't an issue.
If you increase the size of the graphs (especially that Events graph) you can see the events better. You can remove the snore graph and the respiration graph as they aren't particularly useful. Resp rate isn't useful at all and you can see the snores on the events graph.
The increase in snores and RERAs point to a sub optimal minimum pressure. Need a little more baseline/minimum pressure to better hold the airway open and give the machine a little better head start in preventing the collapse in the first place.

Re: posting seepyhead results
thanks you all. I have an appointment next week to look at another mask, hybrid. I will take my charts and let them look at it. This base was the first "guess" by the Dr. so if 6-12 is too low, then they will bump it up based upon my nightly results.
