Flow Limitation much higher on new machine

Post by SleepCatz » Mon Sep 21, 2015 10:10 am

I just went from a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset to an Airsense 10 Autoset for Her. Using Sleepyhead, my flow limitations are much higher with the new machine at the same pressure, 6–14. This new machine has a heated hose, which is also thinner then the old unheated hose, but would that make the difference? I am waking up 4 to 5 times a night, which is what I want to eliminate. Anyone have any guesses on why the flow limitations are higher and what to do about it?

It's pretty simple. Switch to single pressure (CPAP mode) and it will probably alleviate the wake-ups.
