Rotsaruck there Enchanter.
It's obvious that you don't want or need any help or advice.
You won't answer questions and either don't understand or are extremely vague with regard to what it is you're looking for.
So, I'll no longer offer any advice or reply to any of your posts and I encourage others to refrain from volunteering any, also.

Hasta la vista, baby!

I don't even understand you. You asked too many questions that it confused me. Just ask me one or 2 specific questions.

I suspect I'm going to regret this, but it won't be the first time I've done something stupid and regretted it.

Enchanter -- now that we've clarified that you are waiting on the DME to send you your equipment, you need to get your doctor involved. Your doctor will have needed to send a prescription to the DME (what you call healthcare) and once they get the prescription, they will contact you to get you set up.

If what you say is true and you're not getting a response from the DME, your doctor needs to contact them OR send your prescription to a different DME.

Switch gears and talk to your doctor's office.

Enchanter - Why aren't your parents or other family or friends helping you with this?

One question as you asked.

I don't get it. There are at least 40 Threads started by Enchanter containing literally thousands of posts which offer the same advice over and over. Why do people feel compelled to interact with him?

Before responding to him, why not review what's already been said?

I hear you, Jay. And I HAVE read all his threads. I got involved early on, then stayed out for a long time. Why am I responding now? I'm not sure. There's a part of me that thinks something, sometime is going to get through to him.

Or perhaps I'm just an idiot or a glutton for punishment.

Yeah, probably so. But for some reason that I can't explain, I kind of feel the same way about him as I do my kids. I don't want to give up. I feel that at some point, some time, SOMETHING is going to click.

Does that lean towards idiot perhaps???

I answered your question about what do do in this very thread back on page two! Did you not read it? I told you the TWO things you need to do. It's right here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=107584&st=0&sk=t&sd ... 5#p1026360

You seem to have some issues in dealing with people - both online and on the phone, and likely in person as well. You appear to need help in dealing with this but are unwilling or unable to get any. Most of us have come to the conclusion that we are unable to help you because you are unwilling or unable to take any of the steps that you have been asked to take to help yourself.

If you follow my instructions above and go to the doctor's office the first day and the DME's office the second day - then, you will have your answers. After waiting 6 months and not getting my equipment, I took those same two steps and walked out of the DME with my new machine. It turns out that, in my case, they were waiting for a form but had never asked for it! I had it sent while I waited and all problems were solved.

If YOU take action, you will get your stuff. If you wait for OTHERS to take action, you will probably never get the stuff. The choice is yours. They make a lot of money by providing the equipment to patients - it's how they get paid. They don't get anything by NOT providing equipment to people.

This is pretty much the situation in a nutshell. But I would like to make one clarification to the above statement:

The action you need to take is what we've told you, NOT what you say you've been doing.

Two choices:
Get up, go out, and get stuff.
Or
Sit and sigh, and wait to die.
