Sleepyhead Pressure Graph means ??

Post by library lady » Fri Aug 21, 2015 6:22 pm

I've just become aware of something new in my pressure graph... what does it mean?

Don't know why I never noticed it before; it never showed in my previous Sleepyhead versions. I haven't looked at the pressure graph in this version. I check the pressure on the machine each morning, so I just don't look that far down.

EDIT: Oops; I didn't know it was so little.. I'm using a new uploader, will be sure to use a different size next time I post... if it needs to be bigger I will make it bigger, but I'm thinking that if someone can at least tell me what the valleys in the graph mean I'll be able to figure it out for myself.

It's sort of a graph like the Respironics graph where it shows the amount of time spent at each pressure (when in APAP mode). Mark was also adding some plotting in it but he never really polished it and it doesn't really mean much as it is right now. It gives sort of an overall way of looking at how much time was spent at each pressure (in minutes) I think.

Encore reports show something similar without the line plotting.

Even in Encore it wasn't a particularly useful piece of information and since Mark didn't follow up with it in SleepyHead it isn't particularly useful in SH either. It was sort of a work in very early stages that never really amounted to what he was trying to do.

My advice about that graph...ignore it.

it's a work in progress, it started out with an idea I had to show how much time your machine spent at what pressure, and mark went wild with it... and it's not done yet.

Thanks, Pugsy and Palerider... I'll ignore that graph and rely on my machine to give me my average pressure, which is usually about 12.
