Irritating Mask

Post by Litch » Tue Aug 18, 2015 4:48 pm

Hi all, new member here.
I tried a nasal pillow and just could not get used to it. Went to an Amara View mask and it worked great for almost 1 week. Now I get irritation along the outline of the mask, they gave me some cream to try on my face where the mask goes. It is RoEzIt and it does not help. I have been using some face moisturizer and washing my face with a good face wash before using the mask. All of this is not working.
Any insight or help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Dean

Padacheek.com liners... cream's a bad idea because it lets the mask slide around the seal breaks.

Two common causes are

1. Mask headgear is adjusted too tightly (Mask is pressing hard on face.)
2. Mask headgear is adjusted too loosely (Mask will rub when you move in bed.)

To make the proper adjustments, view the manufacturer's videos carefully - http://www.usa.philips.com/healthcare-p ... amara-view
