Moisture/mist
Moisture/mist
I have figured out what my moisture/misting problem is but I have a very heavy chest and coughing today and am worried about inhaling the mist all night.....
Re: Moisture/mist
Have no idea what you are talking about.

Re: Moisture/mist
Where is the "misting" coming from? Do you use an aerosol device? Cpap machines do NOT produce a mist!
A "heavy" feeling in your chest could be a reason to call your doctor--TODAY!
If you are having trouble breathing, by all means, GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM.

Re: Moisture/mist
Have you been setting your humidifier on high because you think you should, even if your local climate is very humid right now? You don't need to use the humidifier for 'therapy', only as a convenience or comfort feature when humidity is low (e.g. in cold winters when central htg makes it very dry indoors) and it's easier to breathe with it on. You may have given yourself congestion and need to try turning it right down or even off.

She has not even indicated that she is a CPAP user.....Julie wrote:Have you been setting your humidifier on high because you think you should, even if your local climate is very humid right now? Well gee, I'm taking a wild guess that she is.

Re: Moisture/mist
I would assume there is a cpap involved, just by the name of the forum.
I'm guessing that condensation is being thought of as mist.
Perhaps OP needs a heated hose? Not enough info is so much fun! ---NOT!
