Interesting?

Post by Worldwar2 » Sat Aug 15, 2015 11:52 pm

I've noticed that several of my posts have been deleted, along with a few posts made by others.

If there are no moderators on this forum, then who does the deleting and how?

Hi WWII

The owners of the forum (The Goodmans, owners of CPAP.com) have a laissez fiare approach to this forum. Registered user who have posted a certain number of posts are granted a "report spam" button. When they report spam it is deleted from view. It would appear that someone has used their button to remove your posts.

If your posts were not spam you can always send a pm to carylngoodman and let her know. If a user is abusing their spam button it can be revoked.

Hope this helps!

-Bill

Some of the established members might have used their SPAM button on you, maybe inadvertently. Maybe you riled somebody? Sometimes selling stuff will get your posts deleted if you overdo it.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Thanks for the above responses. I don't care about the posts that have been deleted, but I do care that members can delete posts they simply don't agree with. I notice from reading past threads that this happens often and it shouldn't be allowed. This is the USA.

I will contact Admin and appreciate the link. Thanks again.
