At the risk of being completely ignored, I'm going to make an attempt to reason/explain a few things.

Nobody with any conscience would approve of ANY bullying. If Enchanter feels he is being bullied, he is free to stand up for himself (as he did a bit ago) or leave. Nobody is forcing him to stay or post. Nobody is forcing YOU to stay and post.

Whether any of us likes it or agrees with it, this is Johnny Goodman's playground. He pays for it and invites everyone in and they can play. He has chosen to let the "children" play and fight amongst themselves and NOT intervene. That's his right because again -- it's HIS playground and he can set whatever rules (or lack thereof) as he sees fit.

Nobody has to stay and play in his playground if they don't like it here. If it's too harsh, you are free to leave and find another playground that is more to your liking.

None of us, including you or Enchanter, has paid a penny for the privilege of participating on this forum. It's Johnny's forum and he has made it VERY clear how he feels about it. If you don't like it, quit your damned bitching and move on. Because the more you bitch, the more heat will be levied back at you by the people you believe are bullies.

Again, I (and anyone with any feeling or conscience) do NOT approve of any bullying, be it IRL or online. But I also have a brain and recognize that in this particular environment (free internet forum) -- you are NOT going to stop the bullying by the methods you are attempting to employ, especially considering the OWNER of this forum has made his policies very clear.

Sometimes, the truth hurts and this is the truth. And the old saying applies -- "If you can't stand the heat, get out the kitchen."

Jay, at that time I did think it was sort of humorous. Now, I've become concerned about his well being. Would keeping on bulling until he hurts himself satisfy you people. I'm saying with recent developments it's time to stop. Do what you want !

I do understand where you are coming from. Honestly, I do. And if we were all together in a room discussing this and you felt someone was bullying him, you COULD stop it or at least make the attempt. But this is NOT IRL.

Enchanter can only continue to be bullied here if he keeps posting. There are enough people that have shown their willingness to help and he can get ALL the help he needs through PMs.

You are NOT going to stop the bullying as you see it. You can yell, scream and bitch all you want but all you are doing is exacerbating the situation.

Enchanter is grown up enough to get on the internet and find this forum. He can spew obscenities if he wants (nobody has stopped that either) or he can choose another way to get the help that he needs.

The ONLY poster that can stop it is Enchanter himself.

Seriously? 77 and you use a slur like that? Are you sure you're not 12?

When you resort to name-calling, you've already lost the argument (not that the argument you made had merit to begin with).

All you can offer is a critique of the text. You sound like a child! Stop picking on Enchanter, theirs recent case law, regarding internet bulling . Stop it !!!!!!!!!!

I think using a slur about sexual orientation is really crossing the line! I'm certain there are people here that are gay. I know of at least one for sure and I would never call him out.

I called Morbius More-BS when I was pissed at him. Besides, turns out he is a grandpa so he's probably old, fat, bald, and pees a lot Pretty sure his love of boobs equates to being straight too.
Morbius, are you bored?

Actually, he has run a sleep lab somewhere in the Northeast U.S. I don't know his age or if he's still doing that, but I've seen pictures of him and he appears to be tall and slender and is (or at least was) a runner and a health nut. Based on his knowledge, he's also been a valuable resource for us on the forum.

I'm pretty sure you're nowhere near that level of decline. even when you dislike something someone's done, you manage to maintain an adequate level of class. not to mention being computer savvy, photographically artistic, and kind in giving forum members discounts on machines you've found on craigslist....

among other admirable qualities.

Yes, of course........good looking (I'm sure)!!!
(however, it would probably be preferable if those of the opposite sex made that determination rather than me)

Um...postitnote - if you want to complain about, and demand the stopping of inappropriate behavior on this forum, it is ill advised to resort to that behavior yourself. If you want to "rally the troops" to back your endeavor, YOUR behavior needs to be above reproach. And it's deteriorating rapidly.

Just saying....
