And once again the 'mean girls' strike. You people seriously need to grow up or get off a forum that is supposed to be helpful to people. I'm sure there are forums for people like you who just try to come up with the most heartless responses and get off it, fly away there. Flap, flap, flap.

It was your girlish figure attempting to take off to the mean girls forum where you belong, duh.

Michelle, all I said was that Lyme and/or weight is not known to cause apnea, and that spam is not allowed (ref'g to your telling people where to order test supplies for W. blots), which it isn't. I didn't delete your post (tho' could have) because of it, but in any case why have you gone off in this big snit over these things, attacking everyone?

Chicken vs egg on the obesity issue.
---I don't even KNOW anyone with Lyme disease.
How does one even make that connection?
Please, we hear enough junk science from our DOCTORS!
And I get more than enough spam in my email.
Oh, and I did not delete it either; but I WOULD have.

Why do you presume I was referring to you? Did the shoe fit?

Then you are just a troll trying to cause dissension? Because one of the things a troll does is randomly insert emotional tirades in order to get people to respond that way.

Seriously folks, if you think these 2 posts really say the same thing-in the same tone, then I think there's a problem. I very much doubt that klutzo would have been brought to tears, had to leave the page or had her heatlh compromised if quote 2 had been the original reply, rather than quote 1. It just really doesn't take any more effort to be civil. I don't get it, I really don't. Certainly not a troll, just hate to see anyone hurt unnecessarily/intentionally. If you all want to take jabs at each other all day, have at it, but why don't you leave other posters out?

1. "Just because something is present with a disease, doesn't make it the cause of the disease and it's long been shown that weight is NOT the cause of apnea, rather if anything, apnea might be the cause of the weight. The whole Lyme theory here is nonsense."

Btw, spam is not allowed here, so peddle your blots somewhere else.

2." Michelle, all I said was that Lyme/and or weight is not known to cause apnea and that spam is not allowed, which it isn't."

WTF? You just denied it WAS about these posts!
So a poster didn't like getting corrected - that is THEIR problem, that is how they CHOSE to react. They are adults.

do you get a special kick playing homeroom monitor? berating other people instead of contributing anything useful yourself?

Wondering how many more times people will say the same things before it finally gets someone's attention and something finally gets done. Ah, never mind... the people who are slammed around in real life come to forums to pay it back (instead of paying it forward), because no one pays attention to them in RL. Nothing is going to change here because nothing ever does. Same people all the time which eventually pushes the decent people out. A old poster was attacked here the beginning of the week to make him feel small so the attacker could look like the big man he is not. Sad.

Most often it's the new people who get bullied and slammed around. The bullies have nothing better to do than stay on forums night and day to make themselves look like Big Deal people, which they are not! A few are so passive-aggressive it's almost funny.

Sorry klutzo and Michelle -- it's a shame that your "newbee" status did you in. How dare you have an opinion that doesn't fit in here.

Not at all, I just have empathy and like seeing people treated humanely. That poster left because how she was treated affected her health. I'm not trying to berate people, I'm trying to make them see how their rude posts negatively effect others. Sorry if you don't find that useful. And, I have definitely tried to help new people on their cpap journey, but I am too new myself to help as much as you old timers could, if you only would!

That was sarcasm, you know all aobut that, yes? Perhaps how she reacted was her problem, but nobody is answering my question...would she have reacted that way if it was said the way it was said the 2nd time?
