Hi all
I am new here and to the cpap machine. I have only had mine for a month now. Ever since I received the machine I have been biting my jawels bad. What do I do? Will I ever get used to this thing and start sleeping better? Right now I am using the Quattro FX mask. Please help me, I am ready to give up.
Jawel biting
Re: Jawel biting
Have you got the mask on too tight to allow the thin 'cushion' (the part touching your face) to inflate when the machine comes on? Are you sure you weren't doing the chewing before starting Cpap? And are you talking about your cheeks, or what - "jawel' isn't a word, though jaws is.

How tight do you have your mask adjusted? They are designed to be lightly tightened.Slporter wrote:I have only had mine for a month now.
Look at you machine display and tell us what your AHI and leak rate are for the last 30 days.
