Hi.
I've had a long and strange path to walk with CPAP, BiPAP, and other devices in connection with an underlying neuromuscular problem; suffice it to say I'm getting back to using CPAP after some time. I have always felt it really important to pay attention to the data from my respironics machines, so got Encore Pro 2.4. One of the few who actually paid the company for it, though that's another story... but they won't support an end-user even so.
Always in the past it has worked well grouping "nights" together.... that is, a "night" of sleep, like 9pm on July 17 to 6am on July 18, would be kept together and displayed in a logical way.
However, now for some reason it's displaying as "days:, in which the partial night starting at midnight is grouped with the start of the next night up until midnight. This is really unfortunate, because it makes it harder to analyze what's going on as I change variables on the machine and in my sleep position, etc, from night to night.
I've looked at the program but it's not intuitively laid out - to say the least - and I can't find any control to adjust. This is the first use of it on a new laptop since the old one died. Any Encore Pro users out there have advice?
thanks.

I've had much better luck with free EncoreBasic 2.4.8 http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread ... s-Machines
The EncorePro program just takes too much resources to run the database module that is needed for multiple patient management EncoreBasic provides all the same information, runs with more stability and doesn't lock you out because it doesn't require password access. Remember Encore only records one day of detailed flow data, so requires daily downloads if you want that.
If you're using a PRS1 50 or 60 series, the Sleepyhead software is better than either one. http://www.sleepfiles.com/SH2/
Don't feel bad, I paid for EncoreViewer back in 2008 as well as a Mako DT3500 card reader. Glad that we have a better alternative today.

I think Pugsy has reported on that problem with other versions of Encore Pro (2.2 etc). Sadly, I can't remember exactly what the fix was, tho suspect it was in the office setup section. One idea is to check the time setup options like Pacific, East Coast etc. Hopefully Pugsy come along and give us her informed opinion.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Encore Pro defaults to GMT frame and it splits the reports and makes them look whacko unless you live in the UK. SirNoddinOff is correct...the adjustment is made in the office company setup area.
It will still likely be 1 hour off for DST as it never seemed to be able to be correct with DST but 1 hour is manageable.
So it's in the office/company setup area and not the patient profile area.
If you can't find it let me know and I will go dig out the step by step directions for where to find it but the SNO's screen shot shows it.

I don't run it myself... that's an old screen shot I saved from CPAPtalk. The hour differential is a crazy maker - however, after awhile one just learns to automatically correct for it when looking at the reports. A HUGE tip for Encore Pro is never try to log into the program more than two times or it puts a death lock on the program that only the Encore suppliers can unlock. A massive headache.Pugsy wrote:It will still likely be 1 hour off for DST as it never seemed to be able to be correct with DST but 1 hour is manageable.

Re: Encore Pro 2.4 glitch... anyone have advice?
Many thanks gang.
I downloaded EncoreBasic, but after apparently installing correctly it would erase itself at the last minute and say it couldn't install then, try later. And later it'd do the same thing.
But the problem with EncorePro was indeed in the company time zone... it was set to the UK instead of Hawaii, which is a pretty big time offset.
I'll have to try sleepyhead, but I'm too sleepyheaded to branch out at the moment, now that EncorePro is working its halfassed usual again. I also use the SPO2 oximeter programs and have just gotten a new wrist oximeter, which is a great thing to have to complement the data the cpap takes.
