It's your machine that is calling the events obstructive so it's not the software. ResScan would give you the same results.

Your machine isn't flagging any CSR type of breathing is it? I assumed it hasn't or you would have mentioned it.
I assume that your general feelings are worse along with the worsening of the numbers?

The fact that the events reduce in number with higher pressures points to the events being obstructive because centrals don't respond to more pressure.

While it wouldn't be impossible for the machine to be wrong in the name calling...they don't make mistakes very often.

You really need an in lab sleep study with tech in attendance to evaluate the events and the response and thus know for sure if the events are central or obstructive and appropriate pressure or therapy.

I just had a sleep study about two week ago. Last Thursday my doctor told me the results of it and said to adjust my setting to 10-11. I don't know if she is just incompetent or what but adjusting the settings has made me feel incredibly crappy and anxious since then. I am not entirely sure why, could it be that less oxygen into the brain at night with the reduced pressures can affect how we feel? I don't know, my AHI was 8 and 7.5 the first few nights but have been horrible since then. I think I am going to adjust my pressure to 15-20 and keep it there. Ugh this is getting so frustrating.

Get a detailed copy of that sleep study.
Notify the doc of the results of her advised settings. She needs to know what's going on one way or the other.
