Far more likely to be an overdose of meth.

Given that OSA could always use a bit more attention, denying her history with drugs is just plain foolish.
And of course some blame can go to those who ENABLED her. A LOT of blame.

Obviously you were not a fan. We have long known she was in a tough slide.
No use to criticize her in the morgue.

Not a fan and really I don't know her which is why I used google to see who she is and others in this thread thought it was related to drug use.
I'm not criticizing her in the morgue. The article is about her arrests and her downward slide, I'm sure she wasn't in the morgue in 2000, 2003, 2005 and 2012...
I have no idea how she died and the autopsy will reveal that, but it is a pretty good guess when that is all you have to work from.

Seeing the downside of drug use is always painful to those close to the victim;
but hiding that downside does not divert others tempted to think it is harmless.
And it fails to take to task anyone who neglected to try to "steer her right."

We are talking adults - they often resent "steering" and really one doesn't have the right to enforce "steering them right" without lot of legal wrangling.

But when she was young, where were those responsible for her?

Some suicides just take more time than others. After the age of 18 or 21, you're pretty much the captain of your own destiny and some decisions involve consequences. Too bad, she was gifted and attractive and had a lot going for her.

I have a question. A friend of mine got into cocaine use when he was in college. Later, still in his twenties, he had a crisis in his life and turned everything around.
He has told me he has central sleep apnea and it was caused by his prior cocaine use. I just wonder what the mechanism is that could make this happen??
