Last night I had a perfect score; zero AHIs. However I only slept 3 1/2 hours. It makes me wonder if since losing weight the pressure is now too high and wakes me up.
Seems I can't win with this.

Sorry! Did not realize that either... but terrific, because at least it's one variable (alcohol) that you can keep out of the mix when looking for answers.

This answer wins the prize, if only for using the word “pickle brain” and the phrase “your liver will blow out. Don’t hold back, my friend.Morbius wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2015 4:53 amThere are 5 (at least) considerations:Noctuary wrote:...my question is how much could alcohol effect the reading?
- Large quantities of alcohol significantly delay/suppress REM; and
- Sudden withdrawal of alcohol would probably generate significant insomnia; so
- If that's your normal consumption1 then you should test on that variable; but
- If that's your normal consumption2 alcoholics tend to underreport their intake by about 50% so we're way out of anything considered "normal"; and
- If that's your normal consumption3 IIWY I'd save the time and money for SDB and just spend it on beer because your liver will blow out before you stroke (but not before picklebrain sets in).
