trying to price Philips Respironics BiPAP AutoSV Advanced

Post by Victor7 » Sat Jun 20, 2015 4:58 pm

Hello everyone, I recently acquired a Philips Respironics BiPAP AutoSV Advanced with 0 hours. The unit comes with biplex tube, mask, carrying case, replacement black filter, battery, 2 attachments, 1 bacteria filter attachment, autosv manual, remstar humidifier manual, Remstar humidifier, and the black and white filters inside are completely clean. Only item missing is the SD card... I have been trying to get a general idea for pricing, and since the units are so bloody expensive and people REALLY need them, I will definitely end up selling it way cheaper. Thank you for your time.

What is the model number? It's a 3 digit number on the bottom of the blower unit.

Oops...I found a few #'s. The model says 1042906, and there is a 0123 class II? the REMstar heated humidifier piece says Model 1005792.

It would be three digits preceded by REF or DS, for the models in which I'm familiar.

That machine doesn't use a SD card...it uses a smart card which is about the size of a credit card.
It's a Legacy series machine which was discontinued when the model 950 was released but that was maybe 3 or 4 years ago. I forget just when the 950 was released but it was quite a while after the first 50 series machines in the apap/cpap line.
Then the 960 followed fairly quickly....like maybe 2 years ago.

So even though it may have 0 hours of use it is an older model that has been out of production for quite some time.
It was real pricey in its day but it won't bring much now. Older technology and all that.
So the Legacy model itself is probably 10 years old now even though it is possible that this machine might not be that old in terms of when it was made.

You might check with secondwindcpap.com to find out what the machine is worth.
