So crowdfunding day is right around the corner! Better get to the bank today!
Don't want to miss out on this great opportunity!
Keeping in mind, however:
Don't want to miss out on this great opportunity!
Keeping in mind, however:
- There is no patent;
- There is no FDA approval;
- It is not covered by insurance;
- The target population will be small;
- There is no way (presently) to demonstrate device effectiveness; and
- The same concept (Provent) did not fare well.

How did Provent fail because according to their web site:
Lower your health risks by treating your OSA
Proven in multiple clinical studies
Successfully treats all severities of OSA
Did they falsify the studies? Did they have FDA approval? Did anyone use it successfully? I had never heard of it till I read about it on this forum.
Seriously, looking at it I can't even see what it does! The other one with no prototype seems like it at least could work.

Reimbursement. They should have thought it about on Day 1, but didn't.

There's a lot of weird side-shows in this big carnival we call CPAPtalk, but this little crowd-scamming device is one of the weirdest... a cross between the chicken-head crunching geek and the two-headed goat. Gotta love it I think the ionic sterilization chamber is a close second tho!

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

I've had the tubes to my family 'jewels' tied off for decades, so no, Blackspinner, I'm not tempted. I'll let some of the young bucks on this forum test the ionic chamber 'down there'. Of course boiling water is the genuine age-old technique for sterilization. Poached prairie oysters, anybody?
